No, not the kind of children you *might* be thinking about. Not ready for human babies just yet. ;) But below are our children, nonetheless- our dogs. They are our everything.
Both are Maltipoos. Laycee is the white one; Bentley is the tan one. Laycee is the big bad boss. Her birthday is January 25th, and she just made 4. I got her when I was a sophomore in college, and she is my b-a-b-y. Bentley will be 1 May 6th, and he is definitely a "little brother." He follows Laycee around, bites her tail, and chews on her ears. It's the cutest (slash most annoying) thing ever, but Laycee is quite a trooper and puts up with it. We weren't planning on getting a second dog anytime soon and even said when we did get another dog, we'd get a big one (husband wants a Lab or Golden Retriever- the kind of dogs he grew up with), but a co-worker was selling Bentley, and he sort of just fell into our laps. Now, husband makes jokes about having two "very girly" dogs, but he couldn't be happier. He loves them to pieces, and they have his heart... and they know it.
